Personal artistic development
London based singer-songwriter with a strong appreciation of jazz. UKSC 2017 Winner, BBC Introducing artist. Experimenting with genre and themes, with particular interest in jazz fusion, as well as world music.
Large and small-scale works, created primarily using acrylics. Technique and vision inspired by Impressionists, with the focus being landscape painting, often with multiple miniatures on one canvas, to give a range of views of a place.
Series of small-scale works, with a recent focus being on capturing expression in animals through portraiture. Preferred medium of graphite, on heavyweight cartridge paper. Exploration of depth through hatching and cross-hatching.
