About Me
I am Irina Barzykina, a fourth year Design Engineering MEng student at Imperial College London.
Having had experience in both artistic and scientific fields, I am always driven to research and innovate. Within my degree I actively took part in a variety of projects which developed my skills in ideation, prototyping and critical user-centred evaluation. In my most recent internship at a global multi-business bank, I was leading UX/UI design, carrying out ML model training and evaluation, as well as full-stack development.
My freelance endeavours include singing and songwriting, album, landscape and animal art.

Optimising User Experience
Prioritising close collaboration, projects for both corporate and private clients progress with professional flexibility. My experience in both physical and digital lo-fi and hi-fi prototyping as well as testing ensures achievement of results that are of high desirability, quality and usability.
Front-End Development
Optimising User Interface
In web development for a cross-disciplinary project between industry and academia, as well as the design of a webapp, I have utilised JS, HTML and CSS. In addition, I extensively use Adobe XD and Articulate Storyline 360 for prototyping and presentation of visual assets and storyboarding of user interaction.

From official position as COO in Industrial Design Engineering project to playing an active role in a fast startup environment, I drive teams to success.
